She Endured So Much Pain, Sadness, Loneliness in This World We are feeding an abandoned or lost dog that is roaming around the very small village of LA PARATA. As you can see this poor dog is in a dreadful condition from leish and urgently needs to go to the vets. One of its back legs seems to be injured as it’s holding it up. Sadly it appears from her injuries that seemingly she has had a firework explode in her mouth.
X-rays and investigations will show more. Her name is Talula. Her skin looks like elephant hide, she now has staples in several gaping gashes which were infected. She’s on a drip due to dehydration. Her left eye isn’t open and her right eye is extremely milky and at the moment it seems she has very little sight. She was clearly very hungry indeed. Bless her heart she was so frightened when she was caught but she became much calmer at the vets and allowed us to stroke her, such a sweet girl.
It will be wonderful to follow Talula’s progress and recovery journey and ultimately see her living a happy and joyful life. I noticed she has some new skin growing on her right ear. Talula is still in the Vets & continuing to do well & tucking into her food. All being well she will be able to leave the Vets & go into foster this weekend. She will once gained more weight & is stronger return. She is enjoying the high quality semi moist food we ordered for her.
Her new fur growth is coming in fast now & just lovely to see. Definitely the right decision to remove her ravaged ear, it’s healed beautiful & her fur is growing back & it looks really cute. Her eye that had a second small op for entropion has also healed lovely & looks clear bright. Last but not least of our good news today is we took the lovely Talula to her forever foster home with Vanessa Jenks & Dave this afternoon. She was quite happy exploring the garden little by little all in her own time. We are very happy with Talula’s current life. She finally has the happy life she deserves.
